Greenpeace runs a petition against Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) because of those three reasons: 1) Environmental and food standards: US businesses want to lift trade barriers on GMO, chlorinated chicken and hormone-treated meat. 2) Investor-to-State-Dispute-Settlement (ISDS): US-companies could get the right to sue EU member states in out-of-court tribunals where corporate lawyers mostly work as judges. 3) Transparency: Negotiations are taking place behind closed doors with privileged access for business lobbies.
