Greenzone results 01-12-2014 Welcome to a new week guys and of course a new month also !: Today we saw the USD weakening across the board, due to commodities rising, buth gold and oil took a hike upwards !. So the USD became weaker. Weak enough to let even the Euro get the better of it , and we saw the pair going from 1.2420 and to just above 1.25. However the Euro failed to hold the pair above this figure and frequent drop and spikes were seen throughout the day !: Now currently trading around 1.2485 !. Despite weaker than expected PMI´s from the Eurozone, where both Germany, France and Italy were below, showing a contraction and stagnation in the Eurozone !. But still the UD weakness was even greater than the bad PMI´s and the EUro took a hike up the ladder. We will however need to see a sustained break above 1.2520 before we can expect the rate to be short time bullish. Medium term, we are still bearish as usual ! The USDJPY went to a record high at 119.14 due to Moody downgrade of Japans sovereign debt , until the investors, realized that this action could slow down the BOJ´s QE and the rate dropped 100 pips !: We might still as expected see a further retracement down towards 117.20-30 , but all in all we expect 119-50 – 120.00 in not so distance future! The Cable printed better than expected local PMI´s and went from below 1.56 to around 1.5765, most likely we will see it getting in the vicinity of its previous high of 1.5825 or even slightly higher before any further drop will be on the drawing board. I guess we will see another attempt for the Cable to decline further, but if we don´t see some clearer direction, apart from these sideways moves, then the bugger could turn bullish on us again !: Today we saw a triple bottom of the cable reached on the 14th, 19th and now today as well, so the reversal was somehow expected !!. Next time we need to break through it, or we might see the Cable getting closer to 1.60 which I see as the medium term high for this pair.
