Greetings Beloved Community in the expression of The East Bay - TopicsExpress

Greetings Beloved Community in the expression of The East Bay Meditation Center (EBMC) Sangha, Last evening I taught at the always welcoming Every Body Every Mind Sunday night sangha at EBMC. This teaching time represents my final teaching engagement at EBMC for the foreseeable future. As some of you are aware, I have made the decision to continue my formal Zen training at this time. I will be continuing my study in the Rinzai Zen – Hakuin Ekaku Zenji Dharma Lineage. In order to do this in the fullest way possible, I have also made the decision to leave The San Francisco Bay Area and to move to the Seattle area in order to study very directly with my teacher, Kokan Genjo Marinello Osho and the sangha/community at Dai Bai Zan Cho Bo Zen Ji -- Zen Buddhist Temple in the Beacon Hill neighborhood of Seattle. Even though Chobo-Ji is a residential Zen community/center I will not be living in the community proper. My family (which includes our two adorable chihuahuas) will be living in nearby Bremerton, WA. I have no plans to return to The Bay Area as a resident. Thank you for the love and support I have received in the 2.5 years I have been teaching at EBMC. It has been an extremely valuable experience for me. I will continue to be on the teaching roster for the sanghas I have taught at over the past two years. I will be inactive until I complete this next phase of my study. It is unknown at this time when that will be. We are hoping to leave for Bremerton within the next 2 weeks. May all of you---practitioners, volunteers, staff, administrators, teachers and supporters alike continue to be the brilliant Lamp of inclusivity and social justice oriented, consciousness raising, bearing witness Dharma practice that makes The EBMC sangha an extremely important element within the glistening jewel that is the Triple Gem (Buddha, Dharma, Sangha). _/|\_ sage
