Greetings, By now I think everybody realizes that Fridays appearance was a huge success and the crowd enjoyed both bands performances. I was especially pleased with the tunnel Fite Song and pregame. I have been watching the Taylor Bands contest show develop and thought their performance was outstanding; I am sure they excelled at MSBA finals today. I will forward their results to you, when I get them. The massed band at half-time was pretty impressive; what a sound. I appreciated everyones efforts, enthusiasm, and cooperation; Friday night was a fun event. One of the things I said later at Rohrers was, If had made a list of people I wanted to join us all of you would have been on it. We looked as professional as we sounded; I really love the THSAB shirts. I also appreciated all the help before and after the game. I also enjoyed the post-game at Rohrers [thanks for treating me, it was an unexpected pleasure. We have achieved an outstanding reputation thanks to our stadium closer and building dedication, both of which were beyond my wildest expectations [I dont know why as you guys have always been the best] We all felt we have something very special and we want to build on our success. We will do a basketball game [I would like some of the band students to join us], plus Tom Bailey suggested we do something in April. I would like to rehearse on Sunday, November 17 and Sunday, December 15. Again thanks for making this such a memorable event! GO JACKET BRASS! Bruce A. Knapp
