Greetings FBFAM! This is the day that the Lord has made and I will - TopicsExpress

Greetings FBFAM! This is the day that the Lord has made and I will rejoice and be glad in it! It truly surprises me how difficult it is for some folk to find it hard to worship freely wherever they are! It is almost as if they feel that if they start to say, Hallelujah! or Praise the Lord! it might be interpreted as being wrong! I am glad that because I know that wherever I am the Spirit of the Lord is with me, then I have liberty in Him and will praise Him and worship Him wherever I go. Bless His Name! I have freedom of worship! To truly worship my Lord in the beauty of Holiness! Yea, yea I know that some are going to say, We can worship the Lord quietly, without saying a word but I challenge anyone to show me in Scripture when that ever occurred! I cannot recall an instant! I am willing to yield. But what I see and have read is, Make a joyful noise unto the Lord! O clap your hands all you people Lift up holy hands to Him Sing unto God! Sing praises to His Name! Bless the Lord O my soul and all that is within me bless His holy Name! Praise ye the Lord! Praise God in His Sanctuary! Praise Him in the firmament of His power Let everything that has breath, Praise the Lord! I will bless the Lord at all times! His praise shall continually be in my mouth! Can somebody just praise the Lord? Several years ago, while attending a Washington for Jesus Conference in 88 I was exposed to the way some my Nigerian Brothers respond to when you say to them Praise the Lord! and have since used that response whenever anyone says to me Praise the Lord! The response which I find quite appropriate and accurate is Hallelujah! and of course the answer is that Hallelujah is the highest praise and in any language, it is the same word. My Brothers from Nigeria which I happen to believe is part of my ancestry said that 1 Hallelujah is 10 Praise the Lords LOLL! And of course the reverse was applicable, when someone would say Hallelujah! the response is, you guessed it, Praise the Lord! I had since taught my congregation at the time I pastored full time for 4 years and any chance I got I had shared it also as a guest speaker or an Associate Pastor hence one of the purposes of sharing with my FBFAM. So let me ask again. Can somebody praise the Lord? Hallelujah! #SundaySermonette#BlessingHimAllTheTimes!#PraiseHimWhereverYouAre!
