For I, it is not about how cute you look with natty dreadlocks, nor how beautiful or admirable you look in rasta garments, nor witch nationality you are, nor how much age youre at. When or where ever you are, When JAH call you, answer to Him call. Because Rastafari is the true way of life, Consciousness, Spirituality and Positivism. ROOTS, CULTURE & REALITY: I Sydney RayI Augustin was born in Georgetown GUYANA, the second of five children. All my childhood musings, adventures and pranks had musical overtones. At school I joined the steels orchestra at the age of 10, I was doing well at mastering all the different instruments in the steel orchestra, developing a natural ability to play and even sing at the same time. By the age of 15 I was able to do it all, arranging and teaching other newcomers how to play. Next I switched my attention to the guitar. It was a grueling task, being a self taught musician, but I persevered. I began writing my own compositions in the 1980: and at that time I was the founding member of the group call the ILECTOFHIM band, consisting of I-self and 6 other musicians. Weve bean together for over a decade before we split up and all went our separate ways. I went to the UK in 2001. Wile or when I was base living in the UK, I started to progressing my musical career as a singer, songwriter, arranger, musician and just about trying every thing musical for I self, I start at buying my own recording equipment etc. Knowing I have so many years of writing compositions, I filth it is my duty to teach PEACE, LOVE, UNITY, RESPECT and OVER-STANDING using my musical inspirations, to this generation and generations to come. Ive never see or think my musical blessings was to get rich and famous. I now riding in the mystic with JAH the Almighty Father. I am bless to be alife. I doing my utmost best to share Jahs Love for Humans and him Universe to one and all. I comments on line and my music songs is for the world people to read and listen to, because it make science and it glorify Jah and all lives. Universial Love. Ive had the pleasure to work with upcoming artists like Truth, Karina, Tamara, Anton (Naughty) and many other young artist in the U.K . Im always willing to do what is best for the JAHs Glory, and for the love of the Universe, Humanity and I self. The title of my debut album CD is..... Think About The Time..... Which is also the name of one of the songs on the album. I wrote that song to reveal a message to the younger generation that crime does not pay, think about the consequences B 4 you do the crime.. Think It Over... was written by Virginia Augustin my ex and mother of my last child, Reuben she was inspired by a high profile crime in London, when an African youth lost his life over his jacket he was wearing. I wrote... Ghetto Child... when I was about 19 to 20 years,and this song has a lot of meaning to me, due to life was tough Tuff on I and family living in the ghetto Kitty. GeorgeTown Guyana....Live Clean... was inspired to I by a conflict Ive had with another Rasta man. All of my songs are written based on a combination of experiences Ive live true, and also my point-of-views on humanity and how to make this world a better place to live.....It seems so impossible for a world of peace nah?
