Greetings Fellow Facebookians, We made it to Nome! After all the hoopla we ended up using our original Tuesday morning tickets, and arrived in Nome about an hour and a half after Dad. He seems to have survived quite well in our absence, and is certainly in high spirits. My whole family is overwhelmed with the sudden change of events, and the good fortune that has resulted for our teams. Our thoughts are with Jeff and his dogs, who we hope are safe and healthy, and Aliy, who put forth a herculean (hercule-ess?) effort once again. She ran an incredible race! Numerous teams suffered loss and disappointment this year, and they weigh on our minds as we celebrate Dallas’ victory. Speaking of those two, we’re waiting until they come back to life so we can hear the “real story” on the race! Conway Seavey
