Greetings Loved Ones! The turkey has been eaten and family - TopicsExpress

Greetings Loved Ones! The turkey has been eaten and family visited, now for a little down time before work tomorrow. It has definitely been a roller-coaster couple of years and I have been blessed beyond measure. The struggles have helped me to lean harder on God and the good times have been sweet... The good this year has far outweighed the bad! As many of you know, I have been attending Crossroads Florence for a over a year. I have been a volunteer in the video department and am truely blessed by my new family and friends. Micah Drushal is truly amazing and has been a great mentor and friend. Travis King and Brittany King always make me laugh and are a joy to work alongside. My campus pastor Terry Phillips is awesome and I am constantly blown away by our worship team. Another great thing that happened this year...I met some of my dads family, it turns out they go to Crossroads in Oakley and volunteer there. Small world! I had such a great time at the reunion this year! I started a new job and was promoted within the first 90 days. I went from being a customer service rep to a Process Analyst. Guess the time at Thomas More College is paying off great dividends. And I met a great new friend that is my intellectual and nerd equal in every way! CJ Karamol has definitely left a footprint in my world! From Marvel Dice Masters to Star Wars X-wing, he is my com padre and enabler! My buddy Brian Showboat Smith and Miranda Hiles have also been very detrimental in maintaining my sanity when things go south! Brian is my oldest friend and knows my way better than anyone should! But he is my brother and I am blessed to have him in my life. I also am grateful for LaMar Tyson. He is an inspiration with his weight loss and his mentality over recent tribulations and trials that have come against him. A car wreck a few years ago did not sideline him and the things that are coming against him now will not either! Things havent always been roses this year though. Last week I spent the day in the ER and another two days in bed not able to hold down solid foods. As most of you are aware I am a type 2 diabetic and have low white blood cells and an immune system of a kid in a bubble! If it exsist, it has attacked me...Swine Flu, 3 bouts of MERSA, Muscles in my eyes straining and getting stuck in the cross-eyed position, and frozen shoulder have plagued me the last three years. There is good news however! I have consulted a few phycicians and it appears as though Bariatric Surgery could not only help me lose weight but reset my metabolism and possibly help me get off the ridiculous doses of insulin I am on. The insulin I take is not even given in hospitals because of the high concentration. I have prayed God heal me and know that we are His hands, so I believe that the surgery is God answering my cries. Finally, I know this post is a small novel!, I am thankful for my family! Linda Snyder, Steve Snyder, Jeff Snyder, Corinne Snyder, Erik Snyder, Ashley Snyder, Alex and Clark! I had a great time today and you guys keep reminding me of how blessed I am! Kristine Schlanser Crutchleo, my life..my love..my confidant..my filter..my PRECIOUS!!! (you heard Gollums voice just now didnt you!)..We have been in talks of having the pitter patter of little feet in the house...We welcomed our Nephew and his wife into our home! We are blessed to have Randel Hall and Kacy Hall with us as they are waiting the January 10ish arrival of their new baby girl! Basically, I could have said it a few sentences what you just spent the last 10 reading...I am thankful for all of you and love you all!
