Greetings/Namaskar, As we are getting close to the most awaited day - Ganesh Nimajjan 2014, we would like to share these updates with you. Event Date & Time - Saturday September 6, 2014 at ICCT grounds from 11:30 AM to 7:30 PM (admission is free) ICCT Ganesh Murti & Small clay Ganesha Murtis - We distributed over 290 Ganesh Murtis by Wednesday August 27, 2014. Again we thank everyone for their support and the enthusiasm and hard work of all the volunteers in making this program a success. We request you all to bring the Ganesh Murti back for final Puja by priests and immersion on September 6, 2014 into the ICCT lake. We also have the beautifully clay carved ICCT Ganesha on display at ICCT for all devotees. The ICCT Ganesha will be taken in the procession and immersed into the lake on September 6, 2014. Food Stalls - We have a delicious menu of food items from different Indian cuisines offered at nominal prices. The food team volunteers are meticulously planning for preparing these delicious mouth watering menu of food items for the event day. Vendor Bazaar - We have clothing, jewelry, gift items, painting, custom decorative items, educational learning centers, non profit organizations and other local businesses setting up vendor booths showcasing their products and services. Kids Zone - Get ready for really COOL fun and excitement. There will be cotton candy, sno Kones and lemonade along with some fun games (moon bounce, slides and hoops) in the kids zone. Cultural Presentation - The cultural presentations will include traditional dances (Bharatnatyam) by young kids, Bhajans and Keertanas by upcoming local artists. Parking - Parking on the event day will be provided in the adjacent lot (southwest of the temple). Parking WILL NOT be allowed within the temple premises. Parking signs will be posted and attendants will guide and help in finding a parking spot.
