Greetings........... Public speaking is one of the most coveted skills a person must possess. It is where oral communication is given justice when a speaker bears the qualities of elocution. But not all are gifted and/or endowed the timbre of effective speaker. Everybody can talk and deliver speeches before a crowd but potent and productive public speaking does not just consummate after words, phrases, sentences and even the total script are uttered and delivered. Accountability comes within it. A good speaker assumed responsibility on the abundance of the heart as the mouth speaks it. Public speaking then, is the art of effective oral communication within an audience. Right here at this very juncture, lucky we are to have trained and given the chance to perform. The academe serves as our weapon which provides wind beneath our wings that courage and determination are developed within us. Our theme, " Boasting abilities to speak, building self-confidence and augmenting elocution for greater knowledge," is just but right and fitted for us as amateur speakers. Let us share our part and take vital appearance as how we bring ourselves to the audience and give justice to the script we ought to deliver. Competition is just a process, what matters most is how we appear before the public, thus after all how convincing our appearance and speeches are. Thank you, I welcome you all.
