Greetings; The Jaro Leyte Association of California and Mr. and Mrs. Dom and Belen Conde Castillo as well as other people from Jaro who are staying and working abroad is this years Hermano Mayor in the annual Jaro Fiesta in honor of Señor San Mateo to be held on September 21, 2014. In each of us, the women and men of this years Hermanidad lies the burden as well as the challenge for this years fiesta celebration. It is not just the usual festivities and revelries. Amidst is left of our town mates, after the super typhoon, makes our roles as hermanidad truly difficult for there is a temporal concern in every family in Jaro right now. Our collective efforts towards this end are, thus, made a necessity. I, therefore would like to take this opportunity to sound off to my fellow SALOGNONS,my fellow Leytenos, mga kapwa kung pinoy and possibly together with our respective colleagues and friends (residing here and abroad) outside our beloved town of Jaro to join us in unity of purpose. Thru some modest programs, projects and creativity thought of and crafted, when and where it matters most, the Hermanidad shall be resolute in implementing all this as planned. On specific terms, our efforts should be geared towards; ...Being able to help our town mates to be strong; that they may have the courage to face a new tomorrow ...Being able to give them good cheers for shall bring forth peace. For whatever support and help you can share towards making the celebration a success, let us all be challenged and show up for this fiesta celebration. Your presence will help our kababayans.... There is an old adage which goes The joy and sorrows of others are ours as much as theirs, and in proper times as we feel this and learn to live so that the whole world shares the life that flows thru us...do our minds learn the secret of peace In behalf of the hermanidad and thru the intercession of Señor San Mateo, may God bless us all....( request permission to post from Admin) thank you..
