Greetings, all… Please read the following message about my dear friend Brendan Twitchell and his son Simon that appeared today on the RANE Facebook page. FROM RANE: Many of you will remember Brendan Twitchell, who traveled with RANE for many years in our early days. As our front-of-house tech, Brendan was responsible for the RANE sound that all of you know so well. In that regard, he was the sixth member of the band, and in every regard was (and still is) a member of our very close-knit family. Last week, Brendans son, Simon, was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, or ALL. It is hard for us to describe the shock and dread with which we received this news. But, in the days that followed the diagnosis Brendan and his amazing wife, Lindsay, have posted countless photos and videos of Simon playing, smiling, and laughing--facing his illness in a way that gives us all so much hope. He has also reminded us all to keep our lives in perspective, hug our children a little tighter, and remember not to sweat the small stuff. In that regard, Simon is our hero. We hope that you will be as moved as we are and join us in helping Brendans family to get through this difficult time. You can contribute to a fund that has been established for the family below.
