Greetings everyone. Im currently between fellowships. The last - TopicsExpress

Greetings everyone. Im currently between fellowships. The last time I went to church was June 1, and I am seeking a new fellowship to be a part of. The church I went to for the last two years began leaving me with more questions than answers. They are strongly pre-trib, which is good, but I was starting to hear sermons that seemed to teach two opposing doctrines on salvation, and even led me to question whether I was saved. I also heard sermons that seemed overly sensationalized. My dilemma is this, and my apologies in advance for stepping on anyones toes. Here in Northern New England, there are very few sound churches. We have a bunch of mainline Protestant churches that are trending liberal, then we have many IFB churches, and many Pentecostal churches that deny the trinity. We do have Calvary Chapels here, which was where I attended most recently, and have now left from. I will not go into further detail, but I found it best to remove myself from that fellowship. I am asking the Holy Spirit to guide me in my next step. I have a good friend of many years who recently became a priest in the Anglican Communion. The things that concern me are their close relationship to the Roman Catholic Church, which I grew up in, and was led out of by the Holy Spirit back in 2005. Also, their emphasis of religion rather than relationship, and their rejection of the rapture. They also use the Nicene Creed which affirms One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church (apostolic succession) Do any of you have some ideas? I realize there is no perfect church on earth, but it seems like every place around me has significant doctrinal issues, many are into prosperity doctrine, and bad doctrine can be hard to spot right away. How bad does the error need to be before a believer should decide to leave?
