We have following urgent openings --> 1) Linux Deployment Executive - 1 person We at Rahul Commerce (P) Ltd urgently require a resource who have passed RHCE on RHEL 6 , have a good understanding of Open Source Technologies centered around Red Hat Enterprise Linux (HTTPD, FTP, DNS, DHCP, NFS, Samba, LDAP, NTP, LVM, RAID, Quota, ACL, IPTables, Postfix, MySQL etc). Have strong verbal & written communications skills , ability to work under deadline as a Team Member. The candidate must have hands-on working experience on the above technologies for at-least 1 year. The candidate will work closely with Red Hat Solution Architects & Red Hat Support Services to deploy/implement the solutions by following Best Practices Guidelines and also provide post-implementation support on the same. Although we are focusing on Red Hat Enterprise Linux based technologies, we will expect the candidate to replicate the solutions on other Linux platforms (OpenSUSE/SuSE Enterprise Linux, Oracle Enterprise Linux, CentOS, Ubuntu Server, Debian , Fedora etc.) also. The Help Desk function provides the primary customer interface for the reporting of incidents and requests. The Help Desk manages their end to end life-cycle ensuring customer satisfaction and SLA compliance. This position is responsible for logging Support Incident Calls, Assigning required IT Support stuff to the calls, Follow up with the IT Support Stuff & the customer untill the call is closed. Duties: Provide first-level contact for all customers. Courteously obtain and convey concise problem information for external and internal service personnel. Ensures that requests for assistance are properly logged, assigned and responded to in a timely manner Route tickets that cannot be resolved at the L1 level to the appropriate L2 and L3 IT support staff Ensures adherence to escalation procedures. Responds to escalated, complex and high impact user calls in a timely fashion. Act as a liaison between customers and internal IT support staff to assure accurate problem interpretation. Maintain communications with customers during the problem resolution process. Review and update Help Desk documentation as assigned. Generating and distributing helpdesk and incident reports Become familiar with available IT resources Stay updated on technology changes or problems Regular and timely attendance Other duties as assigned Required Skills Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate by phone or in person. Demonstrated writing ability. Demonstrated ability to achieve successful outcomes in handling difficult situations. Knowledge of information technology products and services. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on projects to completion.
