Greetings from Room 2131... Unfortunately, Jordis ANC count came down today. Her doctors said there was a chance it could happen, since she had a big procedure done on Monday. So, were being patient and optimistic that we will get to go to the beach house tomorrow! Jordis platelets look especially great! Here are her blood counts from today: Wednesday, 11/12/2014: White blood cells: 2.1 Hemoglobin: 9 Platelets: 561 ANC: 126 Monocytes: 36 That koala bear picture from yesterdays post is actually a folder that we have in Jordis window at the hospital. Her Auntie Carrie brought it to her and we see people reading it and laughing in the hallway from inside Jordis room. One of the nurses just came into Jordis room and told us the folder was mentioned at their weekly meeting at the hospital today...and they all love it! So, as we wait for just the right time to check out of here for a few days...well be praying, reading our bibles, and enjoying the site of people laughing in the hallway!
