Greetings from Washington! We pray this letter finds you well. Erin and I are settling into our life here in Snoqualmie, Washington. It has been a blessing to be around family and to be able to enjoy the great summer weather out here. The move from Oklahoma to here continues to provide great opportunities and challenges in living out our faith and our desire to follow God wherever he leads us. One of those opportunities is why I am writing. We are both excitedly preparing for a short-term mission opportunity to Romania and Hungary with Christian Veterinary Mission (CVM)! This opportunity is approaching quickly as we are planning to depart on October 3rd to meet up with Dr. Martin Langhofer in Budapest, Hungary along with the team he is leading to minister to veterinary students throughout Romania. We will return on October 20th. I am excited to have this opportunity to use my passion for horses along with my training as a veterinary technician to share my love of Christ with the many veterinary students and faculty at the universities we will be visiting. I am extremely blessed that my wife has the opportunity to come alongside me to minister on this trip. We will be visiting five universities where we will conduct veterinary training seminars, Bible studies and Bible distributions. Also we will be visiting and staying at Caminul Felix which is a children’s home that has 16 families caring for over 200 children. The sharing of our faith will be a regular part of each day through devotions and personal interaction. We will be experiencing a totally new culture, 10 hour time difference and many challenging opportunities as we serve and share our faith and love of Christ. We greatly desire your prayer support for a successful outreach. Please consider being a prayer partner with us on this adventure. The efforts of both my wife and I and our team cannot succeed without prayer! As we took the step of faith to answer the calling for us to go on this trip, God provided for our airfare! Praise God! We need to raise $2500 for the remainder of the trip expenses, which includes ground transportation, lodging, meals and project expenses. We are hoping to raise the money by September 30th.
