Greetings of peace! The World Collegiate Association for the Research of Principles (W-CARP) is an international campus-based student organization that aims to contribute to the upholding of moral values, promote the spirit of service for others and develop leaders of character. It also aims to create avenues where the youth can subsequently interact, develop friendship and help foster brotherhood. To help redirect the youth’s energies and idealism toward constructive activities such as nation-building, we conduct activities such as sports, academic and cultural activities. On October 26, 2013 (Saturday), we will conduct a Youth Leadership Conference on the theme: “The Role of Youth in Establishing a Culture of Peace”. This one-day Seminar will be held at the Universal Peace Federation (UPF) Peace Embassy located at 32 Samar Ave., South Triangle, Diliman, Quezon City. We are expecting 700 of student leaders from different colleges & universities all over Luzon. This leadership conference aims to: 1. Mold and educate the students to be God-centered young leaders who shall become transformational leaders in their campus, community and in the nation; 2. To enhance the understanding of W-CARP members on its core philosophies and values thereby helping them become student leaders of good character; 3. To further develop their sense of responsibility towards their campus and community and embody the culture of living for the sake of others; and 4. To forge greater teamwork and camaraderie among the members and officers of various W-CARP chapters and other affiliate youth organizations. We hope that our efforts to bring about change among the youth ultimately help build our beloved nation. May God bless you and your family.
