Greetings to all and Happy New year. Thank you for allowing I to look at everyone else post of there trips, problems, and finding the best campsites. Below is my second home. Both of my parents are retired and recently purchased s used 40ft class a motorhome 2008 country coach, with only 16,258 miles, with one full slide out, 360hp, cummins engine, 1 full bath. I actually chauffer my parents in the coach due to health issues and being uncomfortable driving this rig. But when my parents arent with me I and my dog hit the road. I traded in a 2013 keystone travel trailer, but the problem I had recently was do to not enough truck to pull the trailer, the dealership sold me a heavier of a trailer, only had a 1500 dodge ram. So you can see my truck was struggling. I plan near future is to move on up bigger, with a tag axle, would like to get a full bath and half. I have been going to rv shows near me for the passed eight years and this is one of my dreams to own a BIG RIG. Majority my trips are in the state of Virgina. Stayed the VA State Parks, Pocahantas, Chippokes Plantation, Rudds Creek Campground, Longwood Park & Kimble Point (NC,) KOA VA Beach, Holiday Travel Park, and Shenandoah Hill Family Campground. Hoping to be this year is head on out to North Carolina the myrtle Beach area and also to Pennsylvania Amish country. Does anyone have ideas of campsites in PA, generally near the Amish country known as the Lancaster, PA. I myself preferably would like some info of nice fun enjoyable amusement parks to attend to white water rapids, I know I cant keep myself in VA, but in time will need to adventure out. If anyone is interested there are 3 rv shows coming in VA. January 23-25 @ VA Beach Convention Center, February 13-15 @ Hampton Convention Center, and March 13-15 Richmond International Raceway.
