Greetings wastelanders, NCR, and raiders alike! This is just a friendly ol reminder that Vault Tec Airsoft is in no way an Airsoft Team! Before you gasp, grab your Des-pati-cam laser-pointer pea-shooter and demand to hunt us heathens down, hear out our logic for a short while; As admins, players, and Fallout enthusiasts we work our little hearts out to make an enjoyable and worthwhile Fallout ROLEPLAY event. Thats right, I said it, the curse of all curses, the activity-who-shall-not-be-named, the Ouija Board of the Airsof community, the Sport of Nerds and so on. Youve heard us say it before at games, but Roleplay comes before Airsoft at our events. Those that have played at the Fallout: Radiation Canyon games know that this aint any old shoot em up, CoD trigger smashing, Des-pati-cam sporting military operator simulation. These Fallout games are made to replicate a retro Diesel-punk, Mad Max-esque wasteland created by the wonderful folks over at Black Isle, and our friendly buds over at Bethesda Softworks. Therefore, we have rules about AEGs, lengthy rule briefings, and a whole carload of glass Coca Cola. The reason we go through such lengths to plan these events, is the reason we made the games in the first place, to replicate the amazing wasteland that Bethesda and Black Isle have poured their souls into. Therefore, if you and your team are the shoot-em-up type, these games wont exactly be your cup of tea, which is perfectly okay! Our games are pretty specific, and not your run-of-the-mill Milsims, so we understand if the interest pool is smaller than other events. Regardless, we try to keep our contact with the milsim community to a minimal, for many reasons, most of them being the Reality Television-worthy drama that I think deserves its own TV program. Due to our community being a roleplay group, and not an Airsoft Team, we try our best to keep out the deeply meaningful and worthwhile drama from our events and forums. The gossip, rumors, and other mature items of conversation commonly found on other forums related to airsoft are not welcome here. We all join hands slaying deathclaws and crucifying profligates together on this page, and at our events, regardless of Airsoft Team affiliation. We would love to keep hosting these events, learning better ways to host them, and meeting new, amazing members of this new community! So we would ask to keep this page and community drama-free, for we are all here to play out in the wasteland. We do not do these games for material gain, the petty objects of this Earth are nothing to us, for we will one day ascend into our planar forms and rule all mortals. All of the RSVP money we make back in profit goes right back into these games, buying props, ammo, tents, soda, etc because we love making these games happen! So please, keep the drama out, keep it friendly, and make this community the best it can be.
