Greg & I are safe, our house is trashed from Hurricane Odile, but weve been working our asses off in the heat & the bugs & humidity and have things semi cleaned up. We have boarded up windows, and are finally going to try & drive North. Communication & information is in short supply but we heard today the highway north is finally open. Cabo is really bad we ve heard but our little area of Pescadero is safe, with friends & neighbors bonding together. After searching for several hours w/ Chelsea Galbraith & Robert Edward III, finally found internet & COLD BEER @ Shut Up Franks. At our house, we do have water & can get some food, but no power, refridgeration, showers etc. Have been sleeping under the stars on our viewing deck because so hot, luckily have lots of bug spray! Greg & I are in this together & were a good team! We are staying out of Cabo (scary!) but in La Paz we can get money & gas. Cant believe we were back in our dream house for only2 dayzbefore this all happened!!!!
