Gregory Weigel – Master Distributor and my personal mentor Greg’s first experience with direct sales dates back to 1984 at Fitness USA and Amway. Graduating from Cal State Hayward and San Jose State University with a BS in Marketing and in Finance he entered the banking world at a major national bank. Quickly recognized by the bank as a top sales person for the entire state of California, and rapidly advanced to the position of AVP. Greg then tried his hand at traditional business. He purchased the same restaurant he worked at through college and then doubled the sales, from $1M to $2M in less than one year. Greg discovered the drawbacks of traditional business first hand and decided to sell the restaurant and focus on a network marketing company 100%… and soon he became the fastest growing distributor for the entire company the year he joined on. The next year, he showed others in his group and they became the new fastest growing distributors in the entire company. This trend continued and even though this was for a billion dollar company, Greg’s group would eventually grow to an astounding 25% of total sales for the entire North American Continent. Greg would go on to mentor nearly two dozen people in his group to reach the prestigious level of Diamond. Many of those people reaching income levels in the tens of thousands per month with tens of thousands of distributors under them. Although Greg considered a permanent retirement, he soon reconnected with old friend and fellow networker, Ted FitzGerald. They not only shared many of the same views … but Ted also held in his hands a “once in a lifetime opportunity” just too good for Greg to pass up.
