Gremlins and graceful exits For several days now, I’ve been dispirited. First because I am tired and in the “go home” mode already and the other reason was my AIRLESSCO compressor had been acting up lately. Somehow I could not rid the streaking on spray pattern and had to stop working to clean the spray tip, increase/lower psi pressure, clean the piston, check the hose, slightly thin the paint…even bought a new Graco SG3 gun hoping it will expedite my work. My frustrations only added up after I have done all these remedies and none of them worked. Then for some reason this morning, the gremlin walked away. The sprayer worked flawlessly (good pressure and no streaks) and I had time to spare for clean up. I do believe of course that problems have a way of solving themselves if you give them time, but it’s the impatient me that will not wait anymore and thus have to bear and grin the resulting stress. There’s still a great work that needs to be done before I return to Cali but I will finish this beautifully with the time that I have, and then take my graceful exit.
