Grey Owl Wilderness Rainbow Warrior 26/01/2014 Peace Walk to Haida Gwaii Update: I slept behind Legion in Bowser and had a great sleep. Still no snow nor rain since I have begun walking 9 days ago. Have given first interview in Parksville and I am about to leave again soon. Tempted to go to Hornby to play piano and see little Tribune but I might just walked past ferry station as I feel I need to be on Haida Gwaii and start broadcast from there and also get ready for March 1st Omnibus National Protest. Thank you all very much for your support and I hope that if you feel inspired, that you will consider remaining peaceful no matter how provoked you get by Spun News and Rig Brother. You can only win this by remaining calm and not let your feelings affect your decision making. After walking 9 days, I can tell you I walked off a lot of my personal bad feelings about the situation but I am grateful for the many miles left I have before I make it to Port Hardy. They could not respect Neil Young driving an electric car to raise money for First Nations so I am walking for Neil and First Nations. They wont respect that either. Two Alberta visitors, shopping for a summer house yesterday asked me how could Canada survive without the Tar Sands; For the love of Mother Earth, let me show you.
