Greyson had a successful day of chemo today. His port had not been accessed since June 26 so we were not sure how that would go. He of course did splendid! He did not even whimper when it was accessed. He now weighs 29 lbs and 6 oz which is great! He has gained 8 pounds since being diagnosed. His spinal got delayed until later in the day which was tough on his empty tummy. He kept asking me for a Nak. I had to lie to him and tell him mommy only brought diapers in his bag today. He got sick on the way home today which is the first time he has gotten sick after a chemo treatment. We are now in the final phase of chemo before he enters Long Term Maintenance. This round lasts 8 weeks. We will go to clinic every 10 days. He is tentatively scheduled to start Maintenance on September 30. Sad to say but it was nice to get back in our routine today.
