Grotesque Civilisation... ( traduire) Posted by: Ewan Vani August 30, 2014. > Brandur Sandoy is Mayor of the small village Danish Sandur (about 600 souls), located on the Faroe Islands. Opposed to the action currently being undertaken in the area by the animal activists - and especially by volunteers of Sea Shepherd-, the politician has implemented a ban on the most surprising to mean to activists that they were not welcome. Apparently, the quiet town of Sandur ended up facing a shortage of paper toilet in its public health. A problem noticed by Sea Shepherd (present on the spot to prevent the slaughter of pilot whales dolphins) volunteers, and in consequence of which they have given their own rolls of toilet paper in public restrooms. Annoyed by these unexplained disappearances, Brandur Sandoy concluded that the precious paper was stolen by friends of animals. He had installed a sign declaring that members of Sea Shepherd, as well as supporters of the Organization, were no longer welcome in the public toilets of its city. WC banned activists: All inhabitants and visitors of Sandur can use these facilities. However, supporters and people related to Sea Shepard (Editors Note: this spelling on the sign) may not use them, including can be read on the sign. As nobody knew which part of Sea Shepherd, militants continued to use public restrooms, taking care to bring their own toilet paper, although they would have certainly preferred to use local newspapers (...). It did not take long before the local media to launch the rumor that Sea Shepherd were thieves of toilet paper, notes with a certain point of irony the Captain Paul Watson. 200 rolls offered... Then, the defendants had agreed to conduct an investigation in order to prove to the Mayor that they were not responsible. While they were trying to unravel the mystery, they delivered before yesterday 200 rolls of toilet paper to the Town Hall of Sandur, destined for the Mayors office... Latter has not been very grateful, it looked even constipated, according to Paul Watson. He is holed up in his office and wanted more out. Our volunteers have patiently waited. When finally, they could approach him, they told him who they were, and that they were the people whom he accused of stealing its municipal toilet paper. The Mayor then asked them if they belonged to the flying teams, they responded that no, they were members of the land team. So it must be those boats, it objected, tells the captain, specifying that only the Earth team uses ground toilets... ... and denied! Despite the shortage, the Mayor refused then 200 rolls offered. The volunteers have done the tour of the island, to replenish the public amenities! Unfortunately, the sign them being hostile is still in place...
