Group Input Needed: Group Input Request, please post anon I am having trouble with my 3 year old after coming home from visits with her father. Her behavior is entitled, tantrums, constant meltdowns. She wakes up to seven times at night afterwards, bedtime goes from 8:30 on normal night to midnight after his weekends and it takes me a week, sometimes more to get her back on schedule. Of course after trying to discuss this with Ex-N he claims none of this ever happens at his house My frustration level rises because I feel this is the result of overindulgence and Disneyland Dad effect. I also think in part he is trying to deliberately make things harder on me, never mind that it also makes it harder on our daughter, because he wants custody and thinks I will give up when this mess gets to be too much. I spend a lot of time redirecting, try to be patient, loving and all of that but it takes longer and gets more difficult as time goes by. I realize I cannot change his behavior but can anyone suggest books I could read or perhaps some words of wisdom? I know part of this is the toddler thing but the behaviors are much more pronounced after coming home. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
