Group Input Needed: Im wondering how many others are struggling with the lack of reactions by the NNN in regards to their children? Our 11 yr old son asked to ride his mini motorcycle to the library (6 blocks)--- the police department told him he could ride it one the sidewalk only if he watched for people walking andcrossed at crosswalks. Well Thursday afternoon I received a phone call that our son was hit by a car on the bike and was on his way to the local trauma center. I immediately contact his father by text ( he wont ever pick up the phone for me), and his only reply was oh great---- then later was he wearing his helmet. Never showed at the hospital and after we left that evening, never once asked how he was or even tried to talk to him. How do you accept that these people truly cant think about anyone but themselves?
