Group input needed: I recently finished a pretty significant court battle. In the process I tried to make the point to the court that exN is constantly bad-mouthing, bashing, etc. (you know the drill). Of course my own testimony as to what the kids tell me is inadmissible as hearsay. I had been recording the kids over the past several months and provided my attorney with transcripts of what I thought would prove to be significant examples of whats going on. They did not get included as evidence, however, as my attorney didnt find them valuable...thought it sounded like I was setting the kids up. So Im wondering what strategies are out there for proving this? Aside from the therapists or court appointed folks the kids might talk to, are there any other methods that you have successfully used in court to argue against the emotional/psychological abuse? Have any of you used apps to record phone conversations? Any knowledge out there about doing that in CA? Thank You Warrior Mamas!! Praying for us all - and especially the children!!
