Group input needed: I will try and make this short. I am in Canada and filed for sole custody back in 2011 and we have now just got a trail start date of November 2014... How ever I have filed an emergency motion to appear in front of a Judge to ask to move to a city 4.5 hours away. My exN pays no support has no job and demands to be very involved in the kids lives. Our relationship is toxic still to this day and his lies and accusations are insane.... However I am Engaged to a wonderful man who works and lives in this new city. he has an amazing relationship with my two children and moving I feel will be beneficial for the children. We have agreed to drive the children to see their father every two weeks as we have family in the city and we are willing to give up half the summer and holidays. Had anyone every had a similar situation? I need a glimmer of hope here. I am so scared the judge will not allow the move at all.... Never mind having to wait till the trail is over wich could take another 2 years. Please someone tell me something positive?! I am so nervous. 8 days until we appear in court to find out and plea our case.
