Group input needed: Please help! I am divorced from an ExN and removed from his spiritual abusive church where pastor is also a narc. So my ex ordered the custody court record where I was under testimony saying about the abuse and how church is a cult. My mom also gave testimony. Today I received a court document in the mail...my mom and I are both being sued for slander by narc pastor in another state. Requesting almost a million dollars from us in damages because of supposed psychiatric and emotional damage I caused! Even though the supposed slander occured in my home state in court here and narc pastor not even present.To my knowledge, my testimony was privileged info and cannot be used as slander. But now, after a long custody case, now I have to face this new lawsuit based on frivolous terms! Do you think that there is any way that I can file something against my exN for harassment, since he provided narc pastor with court testimony and my exN handwriting is on the envelopes that he served my mom and me with? I am at a loss here. Not only fighting exN but his other joyful circle of narcs! Any advice? Has anyone faced charges for slander? Thanks!!!!!
