Group input needed: can you please post this for group input needed; please post anonymously.... been divorced 10yrs and shared 50/50 of now 15yr old boys....last September I moved to a home that was comparable to narc dads after living on herion hill or the dump as he called it when he dropped the boys off....the day I moved the boys decided they wanted to live with dad full time....I gave it time but as of now I have only seen them 3x for shorts periods of time....they refuse to come and stay with me (they were so excited to pick out their rooms the week before I moved)....I was scheduled to have them for Christmas but dad took them to Florida with out my knowledge for a week....I filled a contempt but the boys called me crying saying its creating drama for them so I canceled it....dad then filled for full physical and legal custody, child support, both boys for taxes and to pay 50/50 on all expenses....we met with a mediator and I refused to give legal custody and the mediator agreed but that was all we agreed on so I asked for discovery....dad has 2 homes and 4 vehicles and makes most of his income in cash (hes a mason)....boys heard what happened in court and either called or texted me that I was making their lives miserable by not giving dad what he wants....their is documented past abuse against me and the boys but the last conversation I had with them they deny anything their dad has done; dad says Im the one who hurts them....I havent heard from my boys since July 4th when the were in the Dominican Republic and dad was supposed to let me know when and where he was taking them and he never communicated it to me....I know the are back in the country but still no response....we go to court the end of July and Im scared to death of whats going to come out of his mouth....I also dont want to hurt my boys but I miss them terribly and going from a full time mom to a maybe I will call you mom is the worst feeling....has anyone had experience with this I was told by my lawyer that since they are 15 they can decide where they want to live....thanks for reading
