Group support needed: Please help. I am going to a pre-trial conference/review hearing and the things my x will be demanding are so unreasonable, I want to throw up. He currently has my baby Fri night to Sunday night every weekend and a 2hour midweek visit on Wednesdays. He will be asking that in addition to the wed. night visit, he take our toddler Thurs night to Sunday night every week. He is gone from 5:30a to @6p on weekdays so is nominating his mother, who tried to sue us for half custody of our then 5mo old baby to take care of 2 yr old alone thurs night to fri night since hell be working. My personal opinions of her aside, how does it make any sense to order a very young child into third party care when child can be home with mama? Not to mention his complicated medical history and developmental delays that are being addressed by professionals. My toddler needs the routine, consistency and care hes been getting from me all along. No one loves him, knows him or takes care of and responds to his needs like mama does. I understand him and know who he is. Please, any support out there? Im nauseous and scared and pissed. Im pissed that the so-called father of my child is showing such a profound lack of caring to the consequences, to the effects his proposed demands would have on our toddlers life.
