Grow It 1- Plant It Surround yourself with good people. Whatsoever a man plants, that shall he sow. We need to have a good harvest. Speak life and faith into others. The word has the power to change your life. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. (Galatians 6:8 NIV). so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. (Isaiah 55:11 NIV). 2- Its Still Growing! The word of God produces fruit. It causes you to live right. The word has the power to keep you. Something powerful will take place. How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to your word. I have chosen the way of faithfulness; I have set my heart on your laws. (Psalm 119:9, 30 NIV). My soul is weary with sorrow; strengthen me according to your word. (Psalm 119:28 NIV). We derive our strength and power by planting and growing the word if God in your life. “Every word of God is flawless; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. (Proverbs 30:5 NIV). Night and day, whether he sleeps or gets up, the seed sprouts and grows, though he does not know how. (Mark 4:27 NIV). All by itself the soil produces grain—first the stalk, then the head, then the full kernel in the head. As soon as the grain is ripe, he puts the sickle to it, because the harvest has come.” (Mark 4:28, 29 NIV). I can not control if Im in a good season or a bad season. Night is as necessary as the day is. Keep your eyes on the eternal. 3- The Harvest Is Coming But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare. (2 Peter 3:10 NIV). and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. (Ephesians 5:27 NIV). We need to grow into maturity before we are used by God. The fruit must be ripe before we eat it. So we need to be ripened in the spirit to be used if God. God waits until we are ready to be able to use us. Therefore Jesus told them, “My time is not yet here; for you any time will do. (John 7:6 NIV). 4- Time and Process - every step is important. Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. (1 Peter 5:6 NIV). We are growing in Him whether we see it or not. Its all in Gods time. Dont be in a rush. Let God do His thing in you and allow Him to prepare you. God planted the spirit of His Son in us when we accepted Him into our hearts. He is investing in us because we are valuable in His sight. Allow Him to work in you, do not be in a rush nor get in a rut. You have something awesome in you!! LET IT GROW!!! His promise in you are yes and amen. Its growing in the day, its growing in the night, its growing when your happy, its growing when youre sad. Its growing!,
