Growing up I feel like I made my parents proud. I really wanted to. I excelled in academics, sports and music and was an all around good kid. I also did my best to follow after Christ. This is because of the example they set for me and the standards that they had that I wanted to have as well in my life. However, I must say that they have made ME proud. They have continued to stay strong in their faith in God no matter what comes their way. They have this strong love for one another that has Christ at the center and they stand by eachother no matter what. To this day I will still call my Mom and Dad quite often and ask for their advice. I know that their advice will not steer me wrong and I know that they are always praying for me and my family. I am SO BLESSED to call them my parents and also my friends. Thanks Mom and Dad for instilling strong moral values in me that I will carry with me the rest of my life. You two make me so proud and I am so proud to call you Mom and Dad!
