Growing up, ME3 Angela Chan only read about warships and pirates - TopicsExpress

Growing up, ME3 Angela Chan only read about warships and pirates in books. Now, she is living these stories in her real life. Countering piracy in the Gulf of Aden. Sailing on a US destroyer for 3 months. Navigating one of the largest ships of our Navy - RSS Resolution, an Endurance-class Landing Ship Tank, Angela has done them all. “To me, there is nothing more dynamic than working on a ship – the real-time operations, the many ports of call, the unmatched views out at sea. As one who cannot be confined in an office, I am glad to be able to go on these overseas missions. Participating in these missions has been an eye opener. It helps that my husband and two lovely children are very supportive of my job in the Navy. They are my motivation to keep going,” shares Angela.
