Growing up going to Sea World not only do I remember Shamu, feeding dolphins, petting stingrays, and my favorite show Seymour and Clyde, but I remember a video they had on exhibit about their wildlife rescues and rehabilitation. I remember thinking how cool that was that they did that. I will never forget the experiences I had there, including a sleepover in 5th grade where we slept with the manatees. With all this hype of Blackfish, it was so nice to have a Sea World veterinarian come and speak to us today about diseases in marine mammals and the research they continue to do. Just remember there is always more to the story.
