Growth Energy vice president and chief economist Jim Miller says it is Growth Energy’s position that the Renewable Fuel Standard is flexible enough to account for less fuel consumption. He says contrary to what the American Petroleum Industry is saying, there is no need to make changes or repeal the Renewable Fuels Standard. “The flexibility already exists with EPA and there is no need to have any sort of legislative action taken at this time. And, allow EPA to do its job.”
