Guatemala means place of many trees and although some may assume Spanish is spoken by everyone, the indigenous and elderly populations still rely heavily on Mayan or Amerindian languages. The concepts of 0 (zero) and blue denim were also first developed by the Mayans in Guatemala. Their team is a three time returner to Olympic Games (1972, 1988- both ending with round 1 losses). Cant wait to see the Guatemalan team take the field!
