Guess what? Just because you have seen every episode of trauma: life in the ER or House, you are not a medical professional. If you have that much of a handle on the medical world, please refrain from calling 911 and use your own expert knowledge and handle your own emergency. If you see us coming in the ambulance, with lights and sirens, please get out of the way. If, by chance, we pass by & the lights and sirens are turned off, that means we were cancelled from the call. Following us and then trying to reprimand us on an issue that you know nothing about isnt going to prove or solve anything other than tick off someone who works 48+ hours straight for low pay and has to eat on the run for the duration of the shift. This is true for my brothers & sisters on the FD, LEO, & EMS. Thank you.
