Guess what? There are lots of things I could write about. Blog about. Post about. But guess what- I dont. Why? Because those things involve my kids. And their stories, and histories, and losses, and struggles, and health, and their hard days, and their joys, and their celebrations. And protecting them is more important than informing you. More important than teaching you. More important than inspiring you. More important than your pats on my back. More important than your support and prayers. You can call me inauthentic. You can claim that I only share the good, the easy, the put together. You can misunderstand me. But I am choosing honor, and privacy, and respect for my kids. Because while I cherish you they are more important. I have been entrusted as their mom- the keeper of their stories. I will keep them. Even if it means you only see part and not all. Even if it means I dont have an army of people behind me. I will protect them with ferocious love.
