Guiding is not an easy job, its not the money but it is a passion. Staying up the night before getting the gear, baits, etc... ready for the morning trip. Waking up at the early A.M when my wife and kids are in their sleep, making coffee and check the gear once more. For the years Ive been guiding, I never took a deposit from any of my clients, nor do I ask for payment in advance, sometimes Id guide them an extra hour or so so I can help them land their first trophy steelhead that theyve long been chasing.. because I know they have and understand the passion we share.
