Guillermos apparently the one the Issue is with; hes even more Liberal than Jackson, and the Hobbit Movies (which Jackson wasnt even going to do; everyone just Insisted he be Involved) have a Pixar Element to them that must be some new Trend hes into. Christopher Tolkein isnt too Happy; this puts The Silmarillion right out as an Option, but it very likely never would have been a Franchise anyway. In that these Prequels (somewhat) Introduce these Tales to a Younger Audience but didnt Alienate (all of) the rest, its still a Good Franchise. Thing is, it already had a huge Age-Span; perhaps this will Keep People Interested for longer, if they first Watch these and then those they were Prequels to, elsewise just being told TLOTR Movies are Darker and Edgier to keep Interest in them.
