(Guilt) Rightness and wrongness has nothing to do with whether we feel guilty or not. We may be denying reality. We cant rely on our own feelings, to let us know whether God is pleased with our actions. Instead, we must compare our lives with Gods Standards for living. The Holy Spirit through Gods Word will convict us when we are guilty and also reassure us when false guilt threaten to overwhelm us. (Jonah 1:4-5)
