Guilty of forgetting that you seriously just never know... after 4 - TopicsExpress

Guilty of forgetting that you seriously just never know... after 4 days of back and forth emails, vms, getting approval to give passenger what she was asking for, servicing all her questions and changes including finding a picture of the balcony that she could have googled herself, etc.. yes, she finally booked! And yes I heard music and saw balloons when it was done.. ;) We customer service reps/sales reps can get fatigued on occasion, too ;) But, if were good at what we do..youll never know it! Later, I thought to myself..oh, she will be one to call all the time for everything..sure enough, a vm from her this morning when I first came in..to my surprise, er um, correction..she said her sister-in-law now wants to go because - (as she started to choke up and get teary-eyed) - her sister-in-laws mother had passed away and at the time of the cruise is when she would have normally spent time with her mother. Passenger said she gave her my number and ext to book her cruise and thanked me for being there for her. I now know this person a whole lot better and appreciate the reminder that you just never know and appreciate that she never saw nor heard my fatique..thankfully for her sake! Ultimatley, she booked because she connected with me..she could have gone elsewhere but she didnt. I am looking forward to now meeting her sister-in-law. :)
