That the Dogosse Giar-class that became the flagship of the Earth orbital fleet christened “General Revil” is named on an actual person in the UC timeline? He is known for his Zeon is Exhausted! speech which played a great part in the signing of the Antarctic Treaty (mentioned in Gundam 0083). He is also considered to be a newtype with the highest military rank. He died as a hero when his fleet met in secret with Sovereign Degwin Sodo Zabi (The Father of Sasro Zabi, Gihren Zabi, Garma Zabi, Dozle Zabi and Kycilia Zabi) to negotiate the terms of a Zeon surrender. Unfortunately, while both were mediating a peace, Gihren Zabis ambition got the best of him and he ordered Zeons Solar Ray weapon to fire at the rendezvous point, killing General Revil and Degwin, and eliminating most of the Federations Revil fleet.
