Gurazi’s PA misbehaves with Tehsil employees SRINAGAR, January 04: Personal Assistant (PA) of National Conference senior leader and MLA Guraz, Nazir Ahmad Gurazi has allegedly misbehaved and abused employees working in Tehsil including Naib Tehsildar after the later didn’t stand up from their chairs at the time of his entry into the office. Employees of Tehsil office, Dawar- Guraz in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district said that Master Mohammad Akbar Wani, presently as Personal Assistant (PA) of MLA Guraz has spread reign of terror in the area. They said he not only abused employees without any reason, but also threats to put them in trouble if his dictates are not obeyed. “Nobody dares to register complaint against him, such is his behavior,” they said. “He also didn’t spare Naib Tehsildar, Jameel Ahmad Lone and hurled choicest abuses for not standing up from the chair at the time of his arrival into the office,” they said. They angry employees said that they complained in the police station, but still case was registered against him. “Nobody listen to people like us, who belong to the remotest part of state, where influence and mighty rule over major but helpless people,” they said. Deputy Commissioner, Bandipora Dr Shah Faesal said that he has received a complaint, but added the case might have been at SDM office Gurez. “Once I receive complaint from SDM, definitely action will be taken against the person,” he said. Faesal added that it needed to be confirmed, whether Wani, a governments master by profession was still attached with Gurazi, former NC minister or General Administrative Department (GAD) has relieved him from the post. DC Bandipora also admitted such incidents are more reported in rural areas, where common people have to bear the brunt.He however, assured that such incidents would be dealt severely under laws.
