Guwahati Invitation & Schedule: We warmly invite the creative community of Guwahati to engage and interact with the incoming South Korean Arts & Culture Roadshow team, at your convenience during their sojourn through Guwahati July 06-09. This will ideally be about the visitors and individuals from the local creative community spending quality time together, getting to know each other a bit, both professionally as well as personally, and, also about essaying a few arts actions along the way, some of them independent, and, some of them in ad hoc experimental creative collaborations between new friends and associates There are two distinct opportunities for this during the visit to Guwahati, approximately as follows: Monday, July 07: > 9:30am to 10:30am: assemble at The Reseach & Innovation Ashram, Rukmini Nagar (snacks & beverages) > 10:30am to 12:00pm: visit clay idol-makers on the way to State College of Art, and Bokhisto Mandir > 12:30pm to 2:00pm: visit Dipor Beel for possible arts actions as well as for a village lunch (please book with me and pay Rs. 150/- per head in advance, for your lunch). This will be in the unfinished over-water restaurant-on-stilts, just beyond the unused railway bridge, right after the Forestry Departments Viewing Tower) > 2:30pm to 4pm: visit Kamakhya Mandir.
