Guys. Need advice. More or less done with my Troll build, except for one last part: wheel build. Now ive been lurking in all these global forums where riders have access and $$$ for phil wood stuff, rohloffs, ighs triple-butted spokes, chukker rims etc. How bombproof can we get when it comes to the very limited supplies we have at our local stores? Been everywhere except quiapo. Whats ideal and available and DURABLE? A lot of MTB-based 26 wheelsets address different riding modes, and often, premium price is attached to light weight for racing. But as touring is a different need, what do you use? What do you regret buying? Touring peeps, please share some of your advice and experience. I dont want to scrimp, but I dont wanna buy hyperexpensive stuff that was designed for podium placing but will fail on me in the middle of nowhere. Thanks!
