Guys l have been absent from Facebook for some time....well...was out of the office for some weeks( l know you guys did not even notice my absence...you have more important things to think about...lol). Anyway am back...two weeks now(u will know why duration and time is relevant in this post soon). God has been faithful.....l had to go for some on the job training on debt negotiations and and l will share a joke(is it really a joke if Ebola is in the story?) Nationals from other west African countries were invited to participate in the programme, except Liberia for very obvious reasons. But the people from Sierra Leone were very present in their bulk majority...hmm...unbeknownst to me the guy who was sitting next to my Ghanaian colleague and by logical extension one person away from me was from Sierra Leone...we were all quite uneasy but....how u go do am? Lo and behold he also had a cold and kept blowing his nose....hmmm....l know wat u r thinking... The question is how did Sierra Leone get invited and Liberia bounced?( I thought Dedes son and Korkors son are all children of Krobo women....u catch my drift?) So the training programme for me was rather a training programme in uneasiness and hope. Just when i thought l was the only worried man in Galilee, the guy was absent for the rest of the programme without warning...hahahaha....u are getting worried abi?....U can imagine my brain switching to ant-panic mode and survival mode at the same time....then out of nowhere appeared my Ghanaian Lady colleague who silently whispered into my ear with a voice shaking more than a nokia 3310 on vibration...Where is the Guy from Sierra Leone? l said eeeerrrhh ....just b4 l could answer her .... she added...Is he sick...in bed in his hotel room? I told her i was told he had actually left because of the cancellation of flights to Sierra Leone due to the outbreak and if he fails to leave b4 the last flight he is stuck...you should have seen how relieved she was.....oh Ebola!!! Just when we were abt to say good riddance....boom...our friend appeared again the next morning....His flight has been cancelled at the last minute...so we will have to endure him for some few more days...hmmm...shoot me.....(anyway its been almost a month now and we are all fine...God has been faithful...really felt for the people from Sierra Leaone wen every1 was ex abundanti cautela( out of extreme caution) keeping their distance and avoiding contact as much as possible....u dont wish that on your worst enemy).. .As a country lets do more than just setting up isolation centres...as the name suggests...its a place where an infected person will be kept...what about measures to prevent infection in the first place....hmmm...Good Morning.
