Guys, were keeping a close eye out on the weather for today and tomorrow. Unfortunately, we may be forced to cancel the ride due to unsafe weather conditions, along with the potential chance of rain (70%) on Saturday. I love cycling, but sever thunderstorms arent my idea of great cycling/beach weather. Ive been looking forward to this ride for a few months now, and this REALLY cuts me deep, but Id hate for any of us to get hurt or drenched on the way to Galveston. Also, I dont know about you, but Im not really into the idea of camping out on a wet beach. Looks like mother nature isnt on our side this time around. If the chances of rain dramatically shifts in our favor by the end of the night, then the ride is still on. Well see how it goes. Ill be watching the weather channel like a maniac all day today, and I will keep you all informed. Im so sad. My butt hurts :-(
